At Micro Accounting Partners, we believe in the power of Cloud Technology, and our focus is on the accounting needs of self-employed entrepreneurs and family businesses. We leverage technology to efficiently deliver your one-stop virtual accounting department, so you don’t have to hire bookkeeping staff, or worse, become one yourself. You can do what you do best – manage your business – and leave the numbers to us.

We start with the Xero cloud accounting platform and the Hubdoc cloud document management add-in app. We use the SmartVault client portal to securely share files and keep your documents safe. And if you need it, we can also add Bill.com for payments and Gusto payroll and H/R. And for you Amazon eCommerce sellers, we’ll also add the A2X app.

Getting Started

At Micro Accounting Partners, we start by learning about your business and how best to partner with you. We’ll configure your online accounting systems, including the connected add-in apps you need. If you are coming from QuickBooks or another accounting system that supports data exports, we can convert your chart of accounts and recent transactional data (some limitations may apply). We’ll work together to get you up and running in no time.

Service Packages

Our Virtual Accounting Department service packages include cloud solutions plus our professional services to ensure your books are always accurate and up-to-date. At Micro Accounting Partners, we use monthly flat-rate pricing that’s all-inclusive for our accounting services, plus your subscription for Xero and just the connected add-in solutions your business needs.

 

Virtual Accounting Department service packages include:

  • Your monthly subscription to Xero and our professional accounting services and oversight (limited to related ongoing financial transactions)

  • Your monthly subscription to any add-ins, plus our professional services to manage those too

  • System set up and configuration, conversion and start up training (some limitations may apply)

  • Automated daily bank feeds and bank account reconciliations

  • Professionally prepared period-end closing and adjusting entries for a complete set of financial statements

There is no long-term commitment – you pay as you go and can terminate this arrangement anytime you want. Should you decide to terminate, all we ask is 30 days notice so we can wind things down.

Additional Services

Since we’re already your business partner, we can provide very competitive pricing for preparation of federal and state income tax returns, plus any state and local business tax returns. For those times when you need additional accounting consultation, financial analysis or project work, we can quote and agree on pricing up front.

And we also provide Business Intelligence for small business – “Big Data for Small Business”. We use Microsoft’s Power BI tools to prepare actionable Business Intelligence dashboards and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics for sales, forecasting, inventory purchasing, etc. We’re especially good at eCommerce Business Intelligence, including Amazon sellers.
